c. blind insertion requires less skill and training than ET
d. useful when ET insertion is unsuccessful

a. comes
in many sizes however
b. does not isolate the trachea
c. does not protect the airway from regurgitation and aspiration
d. cannot be used in patient with gag reflex
e. cannot be used in conscious or semi-conscious patient
