My name is Jocelyn; I am 19 and have been an EMT for three and a
half years. I took my initial EMT class through JHPC when I was 15. I am a paid
and volunteer EMT for Trumbull and Shelton EMS. I am a nanny for an 18mo. Boy,
and I love it. I love working with kids and people in general. Other than EMS,
I love sports, the outdoors and most of all being around my friends and having a
fun time. There is nothing like sitting around and having a night full of
laughs.
I am taking the Paramedic course so that I can further my education in the Pre-Hospital care and Hospital settings. After I become a Paramedic I want to get my degree in Health Care Administration and Gerontology. I believe with the Paramedic course it will help my future, in many areas of my life. J I am looking forward to the many challenges that I know I will face with this class. Honestly I am excited, scared, happy and terrified about this class! I can’t wait till April 2009!
