Emergency Medical Technician - Entry Level Program 130 hour DOT rated program

pre-requisite: 16 years of age at start of class.

qualifies student on completion to take State testing for Certification as an EMT

Advanced Emergency Medical Technician   Program- accelerated pre-requisite: EMT entry level program certification

Written and practical testing for entry

135 hours plus clinical rotations  
  Monday and Wednesday  630-1030pm Next program: October 2010 check back here for updates cost: $550 includes tuition, uniform, personal scheduling system, CPR recert and all certification fees

Paramedic Program pre-requisite - EMT entry level or higher.  Written and practical testing for competitive entry. Solid BLS experience March 28th 2011, April 25th 2012

program meets Monday and Wed 6 to 10 pm plus extensive rotation requirement

Refreshers  
  July 9, 10, 11.  Friday 5pm -10pm, Saturday/Sunday 8am-6pm. Location: Bridgeport Hospital cost:$150. pre-requisite- EMT or Advanced card not expired more than one year, or not having more than one year left on it. includes written and practical exams.   must take a basic refresher AND also have either an Advanced  refresher or 47 hours of eligible continuing education. the basic refresher, above, will meet part of your requirements
   
  refresher training of 48 hours plus an additional 24 hours of training. No course offering is scheduled at this time
